December 25, 2017 Family 6

As I sit here on Christmas Eve, typing in the multi-color glow of the Christmas lights that circle our living room and wrap our Christmas tree, I cannot  feel anything other than blessed.  This year has been a big year is so many ways.  It has been a year of growth and challenges as I get outside my comfort zone, it has been a year of humble learning as I started this blog, and it has been a year of developing friendships both in our new hometown and across the country.   A year filled with spontaneous adventures and new additions to our household.  What a year!

Our family is deeply grateful for the incredible opportunities we have been given in life, the beauty and joy others have shared with us, and the privileges we have enjoyed throughout our journey to where we are today.  Again, we are so blessed.

So, between the fog of the lingering head cold I am fighting and the precious alone moments I plan to spend with Mr. Adventure Rich in a few minutes (AR Jr. is fast asleep… likely dreaming of Santa, sledding and snowflakes!), I will leave you with the following.

I wish you and your loved ones a beautiful, joyful Christmas Day and Holiday Season!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Always an Adventure,

Mrs. Adventure Rich and the Adventure Rich Family

Does anyone have a favorite Holiday or Christmas song to share?  I always loved “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” growing up (I’m a sucker for a good harmony of voices) but I’ll take any of the good ole crooners.  AR Jr. is obsessed with “Jingle Bells” and coaxes us into singing it several times a day.  And Mr. Adventure Rich will take “Silent Night” as his favorite Christmas song (keeping it classic 😉 ).
