December 13, 2017 Careers Family Interview Personal Finance 16

Happy Wednesday!  Wednesday is a great day for me.  Many of my favorite podcasts release episodes and my podcast feed is filled for the next few days of listening during chores, running or working out, and driving.  Today, I’d like to point you all in the direction of the FIRE Drill Podcast where I sat down to chat with Gwen (Fiery Millennials) and J (Millennial Boss) about being a female breadwinner and a working mom on the road to financial independence.

Episode 33 with Mrs. Adventure Rich

First off, the FIRE Drill Podcast is one of my new favorites!  Hosted by two badass women on the road to financial independence, J and Gwen interview a wide spectrum of people on the path to FI.  Some are bloggers, but many of their guests are people they know from various interactions who have unique stories and incredible personal finance philosophies.  I highly recommend checking out their past episodes!

In the episode released today, we go deep into some of my career and income progression, my experience and thoughts about being a full time working mom, how Mr. Adventure Rich and I balance our work and home lives, and what it is like to make more money than my husband.  J and Gwen asked some really good (and hard!) questions that made me think and dig deep for answers.  J herself has a similar situation where she makes more than her husband and she had some great perspectives and recommendations for me on the podcast.

I hope you enjoy and I can’t wait to hear what you all think!  Please feel free to leave any questions or comments here or on the FIRE Drill Podcast page.

And thank you J & Gwen for having me on the show!  I really enjoyed chatting with you both 🙂

Always an Adventure,

Mrs. Adventure Rich
